CORD CONNECTION DEVICE FOR EXTERNAL ELECTRODE IN PLUG

PURPOSE:To enable the connection of one side of a pin shaped contact via press-coupling by connecting one side of the contact to the rear end of a metal sleeve, and coupling and inserting a sheathed solderless terminal piece of metal material for pressing and connecting the end of a cord wire to the other end of the sleeve. CONSTITUTION:A metal block W electrically connected to a metal sleeve is provided at the rear end of the barrel of a plug body (a), and an annular groove (w) open aft is formed on the metal block W. The front end of a single body pin shaped contact (d) formed at an external diameter part corresponding to the width of the aforesaid groove is retained and coupled to the sleeve, while the base end of the contact (d) is being retained with a synthetic resin contact retaining material (c). In addition, an insertion hole 63 is provided on the contact retaining material (c) for coupling a solderless terminal piece (e) to the rear end of the contact (d). According to the aforesaid construction, the connection of one side of the contact (d) to the rear end of the metal sleeve 3 can be performed simply by pressing.
