EARTH REMOVING METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SHIELD MACHINE

PURPOSE:To miniaturize a system as a whole by conveying a pile of removed earth to the outside of a shield machine as stirring it with a removed earth stirring belt conveyor after adding a mud cross linking agent to the skudgy removed earth excavated out of natural ground with an adding means. CONSTITUTION:Sludgy removed earth 10 excavated out or facing natural ground 2 by a cutter face plate 3 and taken into a cutter chamber 4 is conveyed to the outside of the cutter chamber 4 by a screw conveyor 5 as keeping the inside of the cutter chamber 4 airtight. This sludgy removed earth conveyed to the outside of the cutter chamber 4 is conveyed up to a belt conveyor 16 as being stirred by an earth stirring transfer conveyor 6. At this time, a power or liquid mud grain cross linking agent 13 is added to this sludgy removed earth 10 by a mud grain cross linking agent adding means 14. This cross linking agent 13 is added to the sludgy removed earth 10 in a conveyor pipe 7 from radial four spots of the conveyor pipe 7 constituting the removed earth stirring transfer conveyor 6, so that kneadability between the mud grain cross linking agent 13 and the sludgy removed earth 10 is thus enhanced.
