STACK RAIN REMOVING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To surely catch and remove the water drops contained in exhaust gas by providing an enlarged diameter part at the top end part of a stack, furnishing a catching part in the upper part of the enlarged diameter part, allowing the introduced exhaust gas to flow once in the direction other than ascending direction, and then discharging it from upper opening part to the outside of the stack. CONSTITUTION:The enlarged diameter part 3 is formed at the top end part of the stack 2, and the catching part 4 is provided at the upper position of the enlarged diameter part 3, that is, at the top end peripheral part of the stack 2. The ascending exhaust gas flow 6 which flows along the inner wall surface of the stack 2 and is decelerated in the enlarged diameter part 3 is introduced into the catching part 4 from the introducing slit 5 formed in the lower end of a catching part to communicate with the enlarged diameter part 3. The introduced exhaust gas is allowed to flow at least once in the direction other than ascending direction and then discharged from the opening part 7 in the top end to the outside of the stack 2. In the catching part 4, a water reservoir 8 for collecting water drops contained in the exhaust gas is provided at the position directing toward a direction other than the ascending direction along which the introduced exhaust gas is allowed to flow. As a result, the water drops contained in the exhaust gas are surely caught and removed at the top part of stack for a long period.
