Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To prevent the appearance of a ghost on a picture screen, enhance the quality of images, and increase information by covering the region where Schottky barrier type infrared detector cells are arranged with an infrared reflector without dividing, and besides by placing the reflector close to a dielectric with an air gap. CONSTITUTION:A detector comprises detector cells 2, a reflection preventing film 4, a P-type silicon board 5, a metallic silicide 6, a dielectric 7, an infrared reflector 8a, and charge coupled device driving wiring 9. The infrared reflector 8a covers all the region where each detector cell 2a is arranged without any division. Accordingly as the reflected light of infrared light 3 by the infrared reflector 8a is not diffracted, the light does not strike other detector cells 2a. Besides electric short circuit does not occur as there is an air gap 10 between the infrared reflector 8a and the charge coupled device driving wiring 9. This prevents the appearance of a ghost on a picture screen, enhances image quality, and increases the quantity of information.
