Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prevent each endless metallic belt for a carrier from colliding against the necks of a V-block by a method wherein at least one of the endless metallic belts slidingly contacting with the V-block is formed so as to be bent in the transversal section thereof. CONSTITUTION:An endless V-belt is formed by a method wherein a multitude of V-blocks are arranged slidably with respect to endless metallic belts 6a-6e. At least one of the endless metallic belts 6a-6e, or the endless metallic belt 6e, for example, at the outermost side of the belts, is curved in the free condition thereof so as to have the center of curvature thereof at the side of the center of the belt in the transversal section thereof with respect to the peripheral direction of the belt. The other endless metallic belt or the endless metallic belt 6a, for example, is not curved in the free condition thereof but it is curved when a tension is applied to the belt.
