AXIAL GAP TYPE DC BRUSHLESS MOTOR

PURPOSE:To radiate heat, generated from a stator coil, efficiently by a method wherein a powder solidified core, having projected magnetic poles opposed to a rotor and made by solidifying magnetic powder, is used as a stator core while the magnetic poles of the stator core are provided with the stator coil. CONSTITUTION:A stator core 5 is a powder solidified core formed by solidifying magnetic powder while projected magnetic poles 5a, faced to a rotor 1, are arranged annularly on the stator core 5. Stator coils 2 are attached to the magnetic poles 5a arranged annularly. The stator core 5 and the stator coils 2 are received in a lower casing 6 while the space of the lower casing 6 is filled with resin material 4. The powder solidified core, constituting the stator core 5, is made by a method wherein a magnetic material is powdered and the powder of the magnetic material is coated with an insulating resin material to solidify it, then, is formed so as to have the shape of the stator core 5.
