HIGHLY CONCENTRATED AQUEOUS SOLUTION L-GLUTAMINE PEPTIDE

PURPOSE:To obtain a highly concentrated aqueous solution capable of supplying a necessary amount of glutamine-containing infusion solution without providing excessive water load in nutrition feeding during various diseases and before or after operation, comprising a dipeptide containing L-glutamine residue. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous solution comprising a dipeptide containing L- glutamine residue in high concentration. Glycyl-L-glutamine or L-alanyl-L- glutamine, for example, is used as the a dipeptide containing L-glutamine residue. Not only these dipeptides of liberation type but also a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof with a metallic salt of Na or K, mineral acid salt such as hydrochloride or sulfate or a salt with organic acid such as acetic acid or lactic acid may be used. By making glutamine into the depeptide, solubility of glutamine can be extremely increased and a large amount of glutamine can be administered by addition of a small amount of aqueous solution.
