PAPER FEEDING MECHANISM FOR IMAGE RECORDING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To selectively feed a recording paper having a variety of size in simple manner by installing a driving means for driving a paper accommodation rack so that the opened part of each paper accommodation part is selectively positioned under a sucker mechanism. CONSTITUTION:When a paper size selecting switch selects a color development paper 16 having 'B5' size, a paper accommodation rack 21 is shifted to the position where the opened part at the top edge part of the color,development paper 16 having 'B5' size in a paper case 42 on the upper stage is set under a sucker mechanism 23, by a driving mechanism 45. At the time when a paper surface detecting sensor 28 contacts the upper surface of the color development paper 16 in the paper case 42, lowering is suspended, and a sucker 22 pulls out the color development paper 16 upward, and supplies the paper 16 into roller parts 39 and 40. When the paper size selecting switch selects the color development paper 16 having 'A3' size, the paper accommodation rack 21 is shifted by the driving mechanism 45, and the opened part at the top edge part of the color development paper 16 having 'A3' size in the paper case 44 in the upper stage is shifted under the sucker 22.
