DATA BASE CONTROL SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To permit plural transactions to update a data base and cancel the update by recording the record identifier of a record updated with the transactions. CONSTITUTION:A data base updating control part 5 stores a pre-updating image in a shadow page 43' of a data base table 12' in the data base 9 of the secondary storage device 8 in terms of records and records the record identifiers of the records which the transactions update in a record identifier storage table 3 concerned at every transaction. Thus, the other transactions can simultaneously be updated so that the transactions are not contended in the case of a record storage area in the current page 42' of the data base table 12' in the data base 9.
