JOINT PART OF POTTERY PROPULSION PIPE

PURPOSE:To realize watertight seal, softening of shock and protection of pipe edge by installing a seal ring having an L-figure-shaped section on a pottery propulsion pipe, abutting the edge parts of the pottery propulsion pipes so that the seal rings are superposed, and winding the outer periphery of the seal ring by a collar. CONSTITUTION:Seal rings 10 and 11 each having an L-figure shaped section which turn on the edge surfaces 1a and 2a from the grooves 3 and 4 on the outer peripheral surfaces at edge parts of pottery propulsion pipes 1 and 2 are installed at the edge parts of the pottery propulsion pipe. The edge parts of the pottery propulsion pipes 1 and 2 are abutted so that the seal rings 11 and 12 are superposed, and each outer periphery of the seal rings 10 and 11 is wound by a collar 12. The collar 12 and the seal rings 10 and 11 are bonded, and the pottery propulsion pipes 1 and 2 and the seal rings 10 and 11 are also bonded. Accordingly, the connection work performance is improved, and also the inventory management for members is facilitated. Further, the edge part of the pottery propulsion pipe is protected.
