METHOD AND DEVICE FOR FLOCCULATION

PURPOSE:To remarkably increase the amt. of water to be treated and to miniaturize the entire flocculator by providing a distribution chamber and a flocculation tube in a liq. supply chamber, forming an injection pipe for injecting the liq. in the flocculation tube and making the cross section of the flocculation tube angular. CONSTITUTION:The distribution chamber 3 for dispersing water to be treated in the liq. supply chamber 1 and one or plural flocculation tubes 5 with one end opened to the distribution chamber 3 and the other end to a solid-liq. separation tank 19 are provided in the flocculator consisting of the liq. supply chamber 1 and the separation tank 19. One or plural pipes 4 for injecting the liq. 10 are set in the flocculation tube 5. The water to be treated contg. fine particles is separated into the fine particles and supernatant liq. 23. In this case, the cross section of the tube 5 is made angular. Consequently, the amt. of water to be treated is remarkably increased, and the entire flocculator is miniaturized.
