Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To automatically measure the viscosity of a fluid to be measured by providing a means for moving the respective centers of an electric furnace and a liquid container to the place just under a moving piece and a means for raising and lowering the electric furnace and the liquid container just under the vibration piece. CONSTITUTION:When the position of the through-hole 23 of a dolly 25 coincides with the position just under a vibration piece 3 vibrated at predetermined amplitude by a viscometer main body (m) by the operation of a horizontal cylinder 24, the dolly 25 is stopped. Subsequently, the operation of a lift cylinder 26 is started and the rod 26a of the cylinder 26 passes through the through-hole 23 to successively raise an electric furnace 17 and a liquid container 18 placed so as to be matched with the center of the through-hole 23 and the vibration piece 3 is immersed in a fluid 1 to be measured, a standard viscosity liquid or a washing solution 19 by predetermined depth at the stroke end of the lift cylinder 26. The movement/stop of the dolly 25 and the operative control of the lift cylinder 26 are automatically carried out and the labor of a measuring person is reduced to a large extent. In addition, the irregularity of measured viscosity based on the individual difference between measuring person can be reduced because of automatic operation.
