NUCLEAR-REACTOR FUEL AGGREGATE

PURPOSE: To pull out a fuel assembly box from a reinforcing body by providing a slide rail that is extended in parallel with the longitudinal direction of the box and is engaged to the reinforcing body on both side surfaces that are opposed to the fuel assembly box. CONSTITUTION: A reinforcing plate 10 made of a Zr alloy is welded to the total outer surface of a water rod 4 for reinforcing a fuel assembly box 5 at the longer edge, and slide rails 21, 22, 24, and 25 with the groove of long and narrow L-shaped section being extended in parallel with the longer axis center are mounted to the side surface of the box 5 that opposes the reinforcing plate 10 and are engaged to an L-shaped profile 20 and a T-shaped profile 23 that are welded to the reinforcing plate 10. Then, since the profiles 20 and 23 are slid and engaged to the grooves of the corresponding slide rails 21, 22, 24, and 25, the box 5 can be easily pulled out of the reinforcing plate 10 of the water rod 4, hence from the nuclear reactor fuel assembly, or can be inserted into the fuel assembly.
