Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To prevent a part of a yoke surface from missing due to magnetic flow by forming, in a magnet slider, at least one longitudinal groove communicating a winding chamber to a valve chamber, in a fuel injection valve designed to allow fuel to pass within a valve casing. CONSTITUTION: This fuel injection valve has a valve chamber 16 provided in the lower portion 13 of a valve casing 10 and a valve needle 20 opening and closing a valve opening 17 is enclosed therein. The valve needle 20 is actuated against a closing spring 24 by an electromagnet 23 placed in the upper portion 11 of the casing 10. The electromagnet 23 has a magnet bowl-shaped body formed by the upper portion 11 and having a hollow, cylindrical magnet core 25 integrated therewith and has a hollow, cylindrical winding chamber 26 formed between the interior wall of the upper portion 11 and the magnet core 25, and a winding 28 held against a winding holder 27 is enclosed in the winding chamber 26. In this case, the winding chamber 26 is connected to the valve chamber 16 by at least one axially extending longitudinal groove 38 in a magnet slider 31.
