CONNECTOR ASSEMBLING STRUCTURE OF MODULE TYPE ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To enable connectors to be surely, accurately, and easily assembled so as to cope with the miniaturization of an electronic equipment by a method wherein a first connector is positioned to a module case and fixed, a second connector is positioned to a mount base at a position correspondent to the first connector, and a fitting section is provided on the first and the second connector respectively to enable them to be fitted together. CONSTITUTION:A printed base 12 mounted with a first connector 13 is placed on a boss 16 of a module case 11, a small part 14b of a protrusion 14 is inserted into the hole of the connector 13, the connector 13 is mounted on a large part 14a of the protrusion 14 and engaged with the protrusion 14 to be positioned and fixed, small screws 21 are fitted, the thus a module structure 10 is formed. On the other hand, a mother board 20 mounted with a second connector 21 is mounted on a mount base 19 with small screws 27, and the second connector 21 is positioned and fixed to the mount base 19 with small screws 22. Guide bosses 24 of a base structure 18 are fitted into grooves 25 of the module structure 10, and the second connector 21 and the first connector 13 are fitted together to be fixed.
