CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR BRIDGE WALL BALUSTRADE

PURPOSE:To reduce the construction period in field, to improve the appearance and to facilitate future repair by fitting the lower end portion of a previously manufactured precast steel plate concrete balustrade block between a pair of angle members anchored on a floor plate. CONSTITUTION:A balustrade block A formed by placing concrete between a pair of steel plates 2, 2 held at a designated space through a spacer member, with the lower end space 3 left undone to be filled up therewith is previously manufactured in a factory. The balustrade block A is built up between a pair of confronting angle members 8, 8, the lower end portions of which are anchored on a floor plate B through anchor reinforcements 10, and after the height adjustment is made through a screw jack C or the like and fixed by bolts 17 or the like, concrete mortar is poured in the space 3 through a mortar filling port 18 to integrally join the block on the floor plate B. Thus, the field execution range is remarkably reduced to shorten the construction period in field.
