SIMULTANEOUSLY TRANSMITTING EQUIPMENT FOR STATIC IMAGE AND VOICE

PURPOSE:To simultaneously transmit a static image and a voice signal by setting up the band of a center part out of the transmission band of a public telephone line as an image signal band and using the residual low frequency side and high frequency side as voice signal bands. CONSTITUTION:The output of a MODEM 5 is restricted by the center frequency band of the public telephone line transmission band through the 1st band filter 6 and the band-restricted output is applied to a mixing circuit 7 and a voice signal from a telephone set 8 is applied to a mixing circuit 10 acting as a buffer circuit at the time of transmission. The output of the mixing circuit 10 is restricted by the high and low frequency sides excluding the center frequency band through the 2nd and 3rd band filters 11, 12. The 2nd band filter 11 restricts the voice signal in the high frequency band and the 3rd band filter 12 restricts the voice signal in the low frequency band. The image signal is mixed with the voice signal by the mixing circuit 7 and the mixed signal is transmitted to the telephone line.
