BEND PROCESSING METHOD AND ITS DEVICE FOR SYNTHETIC RESIN TUBE

PURPOSE:To enable bend processing of a synthetic resin tube easily into the small radius of curvature at a building site of piping without requiring any special skill, by a method wherein after bending of the synthetic resin tube, to which inner pressure is applied, along a bent surface of a hot bend processing device having the bent surface in a fixed form and the same is cooled at a room temperature. CONSTITUTION:A pair of flange members 3a, 3b are provided detachably on both sides of a bent plate 2 having a bent surface 1 in a fixed form. Either a heater may be buried in the flange members 3a, 3b or heating may be performed by placing the flange members 3a, 3b between separate heating sheets to heat this bend processing device. This heating temperature differs with a kind of the synthetic resin tube to be bent: in case of a fluorine resin tube, the same is 290-310 deg.C, preferably 295-305 deg.C. Then air or inert gas is fed within the tube, to which inner pressure is applied. Then the tube is bent along the bent surface of a hot bent processing device and kept under its condition. Then the same is cooled at a room temperature by either removing the heating plate or disconnecting the heater.
