Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prevent the development of crack on surface of a steel slab after blooming by executing the blooming to a Pb-Bi series super free cutting steel ingot under combining the specific condition of rolling temp. and stain velocity. CONSTITUTION:At the time of hot-rolling the ingot of Pb-Bi series super free cutting steel containing e.g. 0.13-0.37% S, 0.01-0.12% P, 0.03-0.4% Pb and 0.03-0.4% Bi as machinability improving elements, by rolling under controlling in the range of 1050-1250 deg.C rolling temp. and 1-3sec strain velocity, the development of crack on surface of the rolled super free cutting steel slab is prevented and the lowering of product yield of the rolled stock is prevented and plate material of Pb-Bi series super free cutting steel is manufactured at a low cost.
