Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide desirable nonflammability and to facilitate working and mass production by forming a foaming layer in which glass fiber is uniformly dispersed in phenol resin and inorganic powder on the surface of a nonflammable board, molding continuous joint grooves on the surface, then arranging a decorative material on the surface, and high pressure press-molding it in an uneven pattern shape. CONSTITUTION:After a foaming layer 2 in which glass fiber is uniformly dispersed in phenol resin and inorganic powder is formed on the surface of a bendable nonflammable board 1 made of glass cloth, nonflammable paper material, etc., tile matrixlike continuous joint grooves are formed on the layer 2 by cutting. Then, a surface decoration 4 such as a veneer, firefighting paint, etc. is provided on the surface, high pressure press-molded in a protrusion pattern shape, and thermally cured, thereby manufacturing a nonflammable decorative material 5. Thus, the material 5 having excellent workability and mass productivity, good external appearance, and design effect of heavy feeling is obtained.
