Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To make it possible to judge the quality simply and accurately by containing a thermoelectric cooling module in a tightly closed container, adjusting internal vapor pressure at a pressure corresponding to cooling-performance inspecting temperature, and confirming the presence or absence of frost on the cooling surface when a current is conducted through the module. CONSTITUTION:A tightly closed container 1 is communicated to a vapor-pressure adjusting device 3 using water through a shutter 2. The container 1 is connected to a vacuum pump 5 through a pipe 4. A pyrostat 6 and an outer external power terminal 7 are arranged in the container 1. A module to be inspected 10 is mounted on the pyrostat 6 and connected to the terminal 7. Steam is sent into the container 1. The shutter 2 is closed, and the vapor pressure in the device is confirmed with a pressure gage 8. Under this state, inspecting vapor pressure is obtained with the pump 5, and a current is conducted through the module 10. When the cooling surface of the module 10 becomes lower than -20 deg.C, frost is formed on the cooling surface. The frosting is visually observed through a monitoring window 9, and it is judged that the module 10 is the good product. Thus, the accurate inspection can be performed simply and efficiently.
