Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To completely eliminate weld spatters without generating unequal removal by operating a heating means upon detection of the welding spatter part of a galvanized steel sheet which is continuously passed and melting the zinc of the spatter part by heating, then solidifying the molten zinc by cooling. CONSTITUTION:The galvanized steel sheet 11 which is un-coiled from an un- coiler 12 is continuously passed and the rear end of the preceding steel sheet and the front end of the succeeding steel sheet are welded and connected by a welding machine 13. The connected steel sheet is transported. The welding spatter part of the galvanized steel sheet formed by this welding is detected by a detecting sensor 14 disposed on the outlet side of the welding machine 13. A heating furnace 15 is operated by a control means 18 based on this detection signal to heat and melt the zinc in the welding spatter part. The in-furnace temp. is controlled to about 400 to 550 deg.C via a temp. detecting sensor 19 to sufficiently melt the zinc at this time and the alloying with the iron of the steel sheet is suppressed. A cooling means is thereafter operated to blow a cooling gas to the steel sheet, by which the molten zinc is cooled and solidified. |
