CURTAIN SUPPORTING STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts by integrally molding a curtain channel on a structure member disposed on the extended part to the window opening edge part of a curtain weir provided upward of a side window upper part and the window opening part. CONSTITUTION:One end of a cover member 2 for covering the mounting part of a shelf support 7 is extended to the frame member part forming the vehicle body side window opening part upper side, and a curtain channel 7 is integrally formed on the curved part and end part forming a curtain weir 2a. As the curtain channel 7 is integrally molded to the cover member 2, the installation of the curtain channel member as a single part is not required as in the past, resulting in a reduction in number of parts. As the cover member 2 has not only the curtain channel 7 but also the curtain weir 2 integrally formed thereon, the integral formation of the cover of a load-carrying platform 1, the curtain weir 2a, and the curtain channel 7 also contributes the reduction in number of parts. The curtain weir 2a and the curtain channel 7 can be set in determined positions only by mounting a shelf 1, and the number of working processes in manufacture can be largely reduced.
