SINGLE-PHASE THREE-WIRE TYPE WIRING METHOD AND ELECTRIC WIRE AND CONNECTOR USED THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To completely prevent erroneous connection and secure safety by forming the electric wire connection section of a connector and the cross section of the three-wire type electric wire connected to the electric wire connection section into nearly the same shape, and making the above shape asymmetrical in the alignment direction of three wires. CONSTITUTION:An electric wire 8 is arranged with three core wires 8A, 8B and 8C at the nearly uniform interval and covered with a cover body 16 made of an insulating material such as rubber and synthetic resin covering the core wires 8A, 8B and 8C. The cross section of the cover body 16 is formed into an asymmetrical shape at both the right and left outsides of the center core wire 8B in the alignment direction of three wires, and the thickness of the outside in the width direction of the left core wire 8C is made thin to form a narrow width section 16A. Electric wire insertion holes 27 are bored on the back 18A of a body 18. An electric wire cover body guide bole 28 is provided on the outer periphery of the inlet side of insertion holes 27, and an electric wire connection section 29 is formed with the insertion holes 27 and guide hole 28.
