CONSTITUTION:An LED 34 emitting the light when a detecting section 23 receives the detected signal of an object to be detected through a fiber unit 20 is provided in the body 31 of a sensor main body 30. The action confirmed state can be observed from the outside by the lighting of a lamp 32 in the body 31. The unit 20 has a detected signal transmission optical fiber 21 and an action confirmed signal transmission optical fiber 29, and the fiber 20 guides the action confirmed signal light from the light source 34 to the front end of the detecting section 23.
