LONG-SIZED ARTICLE SORTING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To securely carry out the sorting of long-size articles by reciprocating first and second sliders with a prescribed period so as to have reverse moving directions to each other, and by interposing partition levers which have been provided to respective sliders into the long-size article transfer route except upstream movement. CONSTITUTION:A first slider 11 is put in the most downstream side position in the transfer route of long-size articles A, so that the long-size articles A are arranged up to a first partition level 41, and the partition lever 42 of a second slider 12 which has been abutted on a stopper 30 in the further upstream side position by a prescribed number of long-size articles A is intruded into the transfer route. Accordingly, the number of long-size articles A between the partition levers 41 and 42 becomes the prescribed number. Then the partition lever 41 is retracted, and the first slider 11 is moved to the upstream side until it abuts on a stopper 30, and also the second slider 12 is moved to the downstream side so as to be put in the most downstream side position. By repeating the above procedure, the long-size articles A are partitioned for each prescribed number.
