DIGITAL RELAY LINE OPPOSITE PARTY IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To confirm surely pass state (line setting state) with the use of a signal reception display device and to improve the job efficiency by providing a signal generating means and a signal reception display means and connecting a signal generator to a line before line opening and before service start. CONSTITUTION:A signal generating means 10 generating a multi-frame pattern and a signal reception display means 30 are provided to the system. When the signal generating means 10 of its own station generates and sends an opposite party identification signal to a high speed digital line not connected to a standby digital relay line and a subscriber terminator as a multi-frame pattern of digital multiplex steps, the signal reception display means 30 of other station analyzes the received signal and displays an opposite party identification signal while being decoded into character information. Thus, the state of the path is discriminated quickly, the fault time is reduced and the service and reliability are improved.
