INVERTER

PURPOSE:To prevent magnetic saturation of a transformer by providing an interval signal generating means for providing an output for a predetermined interval immediately after start of inverter operation, and an interval modifying means for shortening the generating interval by a predetermined amount. CONSTITUTION:Output from a flipflop 5 inverts between High and Low for every rising of output pulse from an oscillation circuit 1, and pulse signals of 60Hz are fed to a first and second FET drive circuits 6, 7. Consequently, a FET 10 is turned on for double interval of predetermined interval. Since ON interval of a FET 9 immediately after connection of a battery 2 with an input terminal I is automatically set to 1/2 as compared with normal state, current flowing through the primary coil L1 of a transformer T decreases to 1/2 as compared with normal state. By such arrangement, magnetic saturation of the transformer T can be avoided.
