CONSTITUTION:A storage chamber 1 to preserve vegetables is arranged under floor, an atmosphere controlling means B to maintain the atmosphere in the storage chamber in a state of high CO2, low O2 and low ethylene is set, vegetables are preserved in the storage chamber 1, the atmosphere in the storage chamber 1 is maintained in a state of low O2 and low ethylene to suppress inhalation action of vegetables and to preserve for a long period of time.
