Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To smoothly operate a manipulator without loosing flexibility by disposing a flexible joint in at least one position of a joint and a connecting part, and forming the flexible joint by a coil spring and a support device CONSTITUTION:A flexible joint 10 is disposed in at least one position of a joint and a connecting part. Most of the weight of a piece 13 is born by the support device S of the flexible joint 10, and the weight added to a coil spring 11 forming the flexible joint 10 is reduced. Consequently, a manipulator can be smoothly operated without increasing the spring strength of the coil spring 11 and loosing flexibility.
