STRUCTURE OF MULLION FOR MULTIPLE WINDOW

PURPOSE:To make works for processing and construction of component members easy and to simplify inventory control by constructing mullions of internal frame members and external frame members for connecting jambs of sashed windows and a sashed bay-window, and by detachably connecting the frame members with one another. CONSTITUTION:A multiple window is constructed by connecting jambs A1... of sashed windows W1 and W2 and jambs A2 and A2 of a bay-window W3 with mullions B and B. The mullions B and B are constructed of internal frame members B1 and B1 and external frame members B2..., facing respectively the internal side and the external side of the jambs A1..., A2 and A2 of the sashed windows W1, W2 and the bay-window W3. At the time of construction, flexible application is made available for installation of the internal frame members B1 and B1 so that the frame members can be cut into specified length or fitted upside down, and the internal frame members B1 and B1 and the external frame members B2... are detachably connected with one another. Thereby the mullions can be used on either side without regard to discrimination in right-hand and left-hand applications, resulting in simplification of inventory control.
