POWDERY STABILIZER FOR CHLORINE-CONTAINING RESIN

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject stabilizer safe to handle and excellent in stabilizing effect by blending a IIa-group metal salt of perchloric acid, a hydrotalcite, etc., and a powdery organic substance in a specified region of the amount. CONSTITUTION:(A) A IIa-group metal salt of perchloric acid (e.g. barium perchlorate), (B) one or more selected from hydrotalcites and zeolites and (C) one or more selected from powdery organic substances (preferably II-group metal salt of a fatty monocarboxylic acid, chlorine-containing resin, etc.) are blended, e.g. by crushing the respective components to 1-100mum particle size and subsequently mixing the crushed substances so that the mixture ratio may be within an area [component (A) : 1-40wt.% (preferably 5-35wt.%); component (B): 5-45wt.% (preferably 10-40wt.%); component (C): 25-90wt.% (preferably 30-85wt.%)] bounded by points (A), (B), (C), (D), (E) and (F), e.g. component (A): 30wt.%, component (B): 40wt.% and component (C): 30wt.% in case of a point (d) in the above-mentioned area, thus obtaining the objective stabilizer.
