ARITHMETIC PROCESSING DEVICE FOR COLOR PICTURE

PURPOSE:To improve the use efficiency of the whole of an information processing system by storing color picture data of respective colors on sequential tracks of an information recording medium disk in a certain repeat order as color picture data of one track unit by a buffer memory. CONSTITUTION:Color picture data supplied from a host computer is recorded as color picture data having a certain transfer rate by a buffer memory 30 on the input side so that color picture data of M-number of kinds of color are arranged on an information recording medium disk 28 in the certain repeat order with a track as the unit. Data are successively read out in the track arrangement order and are stored in buffer memories 38 to 41 under the control of recorded information of tracks and a controller 31, and color picture data of M-number of colors are simultaneously read out and are supplied to a picture processing operation part 37 to perform a prescribed signal processing. Thus, the use efficiency of the whole of the information processing system is improved because the host computer is independent of the signal processing.
