PRODUCTION OF TONER FOR ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE

PURPOSE:To maintain the crosslinking structure of the toner and to prevent offsetting by mixing fine particles consisting of a coloring agent and a charge control agent with specific resin base particles and applying compression force and friction force thereto to fix the plural fine particles onto the surface of the resin base particles. CONSTITUTION:At least the fine particles consisting of at least the coloring agent and the charge control agent are mixed with the resin base particles having 1 to 60% degree of gelatinization and the compressing force and friction force are applied to the resin base particles and the fine particles to fix the plural fine particles onto the surfaces of the resin base particles. The resin base particles and the fine particles specified in such a manner are mixed in the state of substantially preventing the disintegration of both, then the compressive force and friction force and, if necessary, impact force are applied to the mixture to fix the plural fine particles onto the surfaces of the resin base particles. The toner is formed without breaking the crosslinking structure in the resin base particle is this way. The high preventive effect to offsetting is exhibited at the time of fixing by using a heat roll.
