Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain a permanent-current switch which is not influenced by a magnetic field when a large current flows by forming two coils, the winding directions of which are different, in a reversing pin in the intermediate position of a superconducting wire constituting a switch. CONSTITUTION:For cutting of a permanent current, a current is made to flow in a heating coil 17, a coil 11 made of a superconducting wire is accordingly heated, and its temperature gradually increases. The coil is made in the normal state from a superconductive state, and the resistance of the coil 11 increases. Therefore, when an outside power supply 3 or an external load is connected beforehand, a current does not flow in the coil 11, but flow to the outside power supply 3 side, thereby enabling the permanent current to be cut off. When a normal superconducting permanent current flows, since the coil 11 is constituted by two coils 11a, 11b, the winding directions of which differ from each other, the generated magnetic fields cancel each other. Therefore, a couple of forces due to a large magnetic moment can be prevented.
