COMMUNICATION DRIVER FOR BROAD BAND TRANSMISSION SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To elimination the need for a special program for a data transmission/ reception procedure by processing a transmission data of an input/output buffer memory, seeking an idle data channel and outputting it, receiving the data from plural data channels, storing it in a reception buffer memory and storing it in an input/output buffer memory when the data is addressed to its own station. CONSTITUTION:A data processing means processing a transmission data stored in an input/output buffer memory to a data format for outputting to a broad band transmission line, and a channel detection means detecting an idle channel among plural data channels of the broad band transmission line are provided. Moreover, a data transmission means outputting a data through an idle channel to the broad band transmission line via a modulator-demodulator and a data reception means receiving a data of all data channels of the broad band transmission line and storing the reception data to the reception buffer memory corresponding to each data channel are provided. Thus, the data communication between computers is realized easily without executing a complicated or specific procedure.
