CABLE JOINT

PURPOSE:To improve operability and to cope with the difference of outer diameters of cables merely by altering the number of mounting rings by employing a plurality of rings having different diameters as sealing washers, and sequentially coaxially engaging them to obtain a predetermined outer diameter. CONSTITUTION:A sealing washer 13 is made of a plurality of rings 15 made of plastic sequentially increasing in size and coaxially engaging therewith. The inner diameters of the innermost layers of the rings 15 are formed substantially equally to the outer diameter of a cable 10, and the outer diameter of the outermost layer is formed substantially equally to the inner diameter of the cable through hole of an end face plate 4. Each ring 15 has an engaging collar 15B at one end side of its outer periphery, and a collar engaging recess 15C for engaging the collar 15B of the inner ring 15 to prevent it from removing on the inner periphery of the collar 15B side. Thus, the mounting work of the washer 13 is facilitated, and the inner and outer layers are not collapsed.
