STANDBY NOTICE WRITING TYPE DISK WRITING METHOD

PURPOSE: To increase error processing capability by stopping an information sector from being added to a queue and writing respective pieces of information, which are already added to the queue out, to corresponding disk centers. CONSTITUTION: If a write error occurs, a trial for writing respective sectors in the queue out to a disk temporarily one by one is repeated. If a given sector can not be written out, the queue is permanently quit and the sector which causes the problem is held in the queue. After this operation (until power source resetting), disk read requests and disk write requests are all checked to confirm whether or not the requested sector is in the queue. A request like this is serviced from a queue buffer and if the sector which causes the problem is written, that is updated in the queue buffer. Consequently, the error processing capability can be improved.
