Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain high-quality copied images without causing the change in characteristics, such as sensitivity and electrostatic charge potential, of the photosensitive body with age by specifying the concns. of Al2O3 and Al on the surface of a vapor deposited aluminum layer by an X-ray photoelectric spectroscopic method. CONSTITUTION:The fluctuation in the characteristics of the photosensitive body decreases and the dispersion in the quality of the photosensitive body is eliminated with an increase in the degree of oxidation of the surface of the vapor deposited aluminum layer. The characteristics, such as sensitivity and electrostatic charge potential, of the photosensitive body do not change with age if the concn. of the Al2O3 is >=80% and the concn. of the Al is =80% of the Al2O3 and
