Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a smoke-generation part by detachably attaching a smoke-generation part to a case-holding part formed in the main body of the smoking apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A food 3 is hang in a smoking chamber 2 of the main body 1 of the smoking apparatus having an openable door 4 and an operation panel 5 having a start button 6 on the front part. A smoking material holding case 9 containing chips 10 is attached to a case-holding chamber 8 connected to smoking chamber 2 and the terminal 12 of a heater 11 is connected to a socket 13. The start button 6 of the panel 5 is operated to electrify the heater 11 and heat the chip 10. The smoke generated from the chip 10 is supplied to the smoking chamber 2 to effect the smoking of the food 3.
