Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To enable efficient removal of liquid drops from a yarn by blowing an air stream to the liquid drops sticking to the yarn almost parallel to the yarn lengthwise direction. CONSTITUTION:An air stream is blown to a yarn 6, for example, a yarn immediately after wet-spun, thus having liquid drops sticking to its surfaces, almost in parallel to the yarn (within 20 deg., preferably within 10 deg.) whereby the liquid drops are blown off. A suitable equipment for blowing off is, for example, composed of the inner chimney made of an air-permeating porous material, the outer chimney 2 having an inlet for the air stream, and a pair of partition walls 3, 3' covering both chimneys on their both ends.
