PURPOSE:To correctly decide the validity of a storage circuit in an inspection process by directly outputting a microinstruction stored in a storage circuit to the outside. CONSTITUTION:In normal operation, a shift clock 109 to be used at the time of executing a test is fixed on a high level so as not to interrupt the operation of a pipeline register 106. The register 106 latches data in a ROM 105 to be a storage circuit for storing a microinstruction in accordance with a clock signal 111 and holds the data until the microinstruction ends its control processing. At the time of test for deciding the validity of the storage circuit, data read out by the register 106 are outputted to an output terminal 110 in accordance with a shift clock 109. Consequently, the validity of the storage circuit can be accurately decided.
