DOT PRINTER CONTROL SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To prevent wear caused by concentrated use of a specific dot pin in lateral rule printing and to achieve long life of a printing head by a method wherein the dot pin to be used in a lateral rule printing part is successively rotated by varying a vertical transfer amount for each printing of the rule. CONSTITUTION:In order to print a (a)-part rule, a dot pin 201 is located at a position P1, and a vertical rule is printed by using dot pins 203 to 206. Since rules of an upper part of a table, dot pins 201, 202 are not used. Further, a lateral rule is printed by using the dot pin 203. Then, in order to print a (b)-part vertical rule, the dot pin 201 is located at a position P2 by feeding line by 4/120 inch from the position P1, and printing is performed by using dot pins 201 to 224. Further, in order to print a (c)-part rule, the dot pin 201 is located at a position P3 by feeding line by 10/120 inch from the position P2, the vertical rule is printed by using the dot pins 210 to 215, and the lateral rule is printed by using the dot pin 212. Hereinafter a feed line amount is varied in the same way, and the dot pin to be used for lateral rule printing is successively changed.
