ASSEMBLING CARRIAGE CONVEYING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To prevent a product from being broken and to adjust an assembling operation time in the carriage conveying system of a copying machine assembling line by preventing a collision between the carriages in a product conveying zone, and feeding the carriage to an assembling start zone for the type of the product. CONSTITUTION:In this assembling line, an endless chain 6 wound on a large pulley 2 is provided and an assembling carriage 62 is detachably connected to the chain 6. In a product conveying zone 96, an auxiliary carrying mechanism is disposed. In the upstream end part and the downstream end part of the product conveying zone 96, an entrance side detecting means 250 and an exit side detecting means 252 for detecting the carriage 62 are provided. When this carriage 62 is conveyed to the product conveying zone 96, the connection of the carriage 62 and the chain 6 is released. The carriage 62 is moved according to the operation of the auxiliary carrying mechanism in the product conveying zone 96. In the downstream part of the product conveying zone, the carriage is connected to the chain 6 again. After the detecting means 250 detects the carriage 62, a next carriage is not introduced until the detecting means 252 detects the carriage 62.
