METHOD FOR PURIFYING STAIN IN COOKING CHAMBER

PURPOSE:To perform an efficient and rapid clarification of stain by a method wherein a heating operation is carried out while supplying oxygen into a cooking chamber of an electric oven and the like and the stain is oxidized and decomposed. CONSTITUTION:An oxygen supplying device 5 is arranged below a rear surface of a heating chamber 3 and side surfaces 7 are formed by coatings containing stainless steel or thermal self-cleaning enamel or oxidization catalyst not processed in particular. With this arrangement, a desired amount of oxygen is fed from an oxygen supplying device 5 into the heating chamber 3 and wall surface of the heating chamber are heated up to about 430 to 490 deg.C so as to perform a self-cleaning. With this arrangement, the stain at the wall surface 7 is oxidized and decomposed and then an efficient and rapid cleaning can be performed.
