NECK STRUCTURE OF BICYCLE GENERATOR CASE

PURPOSE:To prevent direct application of load onto the neck section when a bearing is pressure inserted by pressure fitting the bearing axially to the case neck section and projecting ribs, which are subjected to the pressure fitting load of the bearing and deformed to support the bearing, from the inner circumferential face of the case neck section. CONSTITUTION:When a bearing 10 is pressure fitted, it contacts with a rib 12a and pressed in the axial direction and thereby the rib 12a deforms to absorb axial load being applied onto a spacer 12 and to fine adjust the pressure fitting position of the bearing 10. Consequently, the neck section 6 is protected from crack or whitening due to pressure fitting of the bearing 10 thus preventing the product reliably from being rejected.
