Zusammenfassung:NEW MATERIAL:A synthetic peptide of a monomer consisting of amino sequence expressed by the formula (X is 0-10 amino acid residues). USE:A reagent for measuring human Mn-superoxide dismutase (human Mn-SOD). PREPARATION:For example, alpha-amino protecting group is removed from N-tert.- butoxycarbonyl-N'-2-chlorobenzyloxycarbonyl lysine resin used as a starting material by a solid phase method and then an amino acid is successively reacted with an amino acid from C end side according to amino acid sequence of peptide to synthesize a resin having peptide bond and the resultant resin is subjected to cleavage of protecting group and resin to provide the aimed synthetic peptide. Furthermore, a human Mn-SOD can be measured by carrying the synthetic peptide on a support and then competitively reacting the synthetic peptide with the human Mn-SOD and an enzyme labeled monoclonal antibody having high specificity in a measuring sample.
