WATER TREATMENT UNIT

PURPOSE:To shorten regeneration time and prolong actual operating time by aligning an activated charcoal filter and a water softening device in series and arranging a regeneration valve, an adapter and a solenoid valve in this system. CONSTITUTION:Untreated water W enters an adapter 16 through a regeneration valve 12, and after washing cationic exchange resin in a water softening device using a back flow, even the activated charcoal in an activated charcoal filter 13 is washed using the back flow. Next, the purification water is discharged from a discharge port 7 through a solenoid valve 14, an adapter 16 and a regeneration valve 12. Immediately after this, the untreated water W is supplied to the regeneration valve 12 and at the same time, salt water is sucked from a brine tank 10 and then is supplied to the water softening device 15 through the regeneration valve 12 and a solenoid valve 11 to regenerate the cationic exchange resin. Next, the regeneration liquid is discharged from a discharge port 7 through the regeneration valve 12. Consequently, it is possible to minimize an installation space and increase the simplicity of replacement of activated charcoal.
