POS TERMINAL EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To make a user to receive service from both of a shop controller and the host computer of its own company by causing an operation mode automatically switching section to connect the host computer when a commodity registering process is completed and an operation mode forcibly switching means to connect the host computer while the commodity registering process is performed. CONSTITUTION:An operation mode automatically switching section 26 automatically switches the operation mode from a commodity registering mode executed by a commodity registering mode controlling section 24 to a host transmission- reception mode executed by a host transmission-reception mode controlling section 25 when the section 24 completes a commodity registering process. An operation mode forcibly switching section 27 forcibly switches the operation mode from the commodity registering mode executed by the section 24 to the host transmission-reception mode executed by the section 25 while the section performs the commodity registering process. Therefore, the user of this POS terminal equipment can receive service from both of a shop controller and the host computer of its own company.
