MANUFACTURE OF SCALY FINE PARTICLE

PURPOSE:To manufacture scaly fine particles having extraordinarily excellent characteristics as the material of ceramic moldings and capable of being produced easily by putting into a ball mill or mold, or collapsing by a plurality of rolls in order to brake or collapse hollow ceramic particles. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic balls are inputted into a ball mill, and shirasu balloons are put thereinto so as to brake them. Concretely, the shirasu balloons 1 are broken by the ball mill, as a result, a great number of scaly fine particles are obtained, which are in the shape shown as a scaly fine particle 2 and scaly fine particle 3. And, moistured shirasu balloons are put into a mold having cavities, and pressure is given thereon. Concretely, the shirasu balloon 1 is collapsed through pressurizing the cavities of the mold, and scaly fine particles were obtained, which are in the shape shown as the scaly fine particle 1 and scaly fine particle 3.
